Job Description : Modular Installs contractor is Now Hiring for long term opportunity a Fleet Manager for its Las Vegas location.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fleet Manager has primary responsibility to protect and manage the fleet of assets onsite, both through in-house staff and outside vendors, to deliver world class customer satisfaction cost-effectively.
The candidate who will be the right fit for this position is someone who has some construction backgrounds, lots of computer and administrative experience, a generous amount of management experience, and a degree being a plus. Key skills include cost revenue, P&L, expenses, and overseeing projects.
The Fleet Manager will:
-Maintain modular unit fleet and facility appearance
-Direct daily workflow of Drivers and Maintenance employees, driving productivity
-Monitor, investigate, and implement cost reduction initiatives
-Manage vendors, purchasing controls and cost budgets
-Manage outgoing and incoming inspection of units and perform customer site inspections as necessary
-Manage business operating system rebills and inspection data input
-Ensure compliance of policies/procedures,safety and environmental programs and OSHA regulations
-Maintain truck and Driver records and files in accordance with policy and procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
-Maintain accurate floor plans and unit specifications
-Team with Construction Services to perform fleet modifications as necessary
-Manage medium size modular projects
-Manage inventory on daily basis to control costs and complete monthly inventory reports
-Provide Sales support by estimating project costs and assisting with asset selection
-Support Asset Management initiatives
-Perform other duties as assigned
The successful Fleet Manager candidate has:
A Bachelors degree (in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering) OR has a minimum of 4 years experience (in operations, construction/fleet management, or real estate experience)
A minimum of 5 years construction industry experience
PC proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and is able to learn new software
P&L management experience
Experience managing and negotiating with vendors
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines in high volume workload situations
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
DOT and OSHA regulation knowledge
A Valid Drivers License
Able to travel occasionally overnight
A High School Diploma or GED - preferred
A Bachelor degree - preferred
