Job Description The candidate will also be responsible for the day to day maintenance, trouble shooting, fault isolation, analysis and complete check-out of a set of complex computer and communications equipment. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of network based communications systems, routers, servers, Windows XP, and UNIX operating systems. Will develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Will remove and replace components and assemblies, repair and perform general up-keep of all systems. Will perform periodic inspections, overhaul, modify and update systems as defined by engineering. Will perform periodic software installs and upgrades. Must be familiar with and demonstrate an ability to use engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers' manuals.

Comprehensive system integration expertise is required. Must be innovative, self-motivated, proactive and always utilize sound judgment, be diplomatic and establish and preserve a creditable relationship with all personnel. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communications skills are required. Must be flexible, open minded and work well under pressure.

Candidates must be willing to travel to and work at a remote location. Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
