Oracle Director, GPO - Risk Management Resiliency Program in Reno, Nevada
Determines and/or implements Corporate/local pricing policy.
As a member of Global Risk Management organization, you'll be responsible for review high complexity unsolicited bids, review high complexity solicited bids, lead global project or program reviews, participate in acquisition reviews, be an advisor for bid, project managers and Consulting. Lead the development of programs, policies or tools, engage global bid reviews, generate/evaluate risk management statistics, conduct teaching (PDW, other).
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent. Desire post graduation and PMP certificate.

RMRP GPO will manage and support the planning and implementation of RMRP Initiatives and day to operations.
Position will involve the following:
Assist LOB owners with establishing and maintaining their RMRP plans and coordinate a forum for LOBs to discuss and test cross functional plans. Monitor industry best practices for business continuity planning. Evaluate new Oracle business models to ensure they are in alignment with RMRP policies and industry best practices. Identify and assess business continuity/ disaster recovery capabilities for acquired companies. If 3rd party hosting services are used, assess if they are compliant with Oracle standards and industry best practice certifications. Identify and provide functional and technical requirements for an Oracle RMRP application as it relates to information capture, plan interlock and information presentation. Develop training and briefing materials to educate and inform the Business on RMRP Policy, business continuity planning concepts, RMRP scorecard information and policy compliance performance.
Develop instructional and informational materials / VODs on how staff business / IT associates are expected to respond during an emergency event.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of business continuity / disaster recovery concepts, practices and processes that are in alignment with industry standard best practices.
Knowledge of business continuity standards such as ISO 22301, ISO 27000 and ISO 31000 with a solid understanding of their applicability across functions within an organization.
Experience with business continuity/disaster recovery policy and management, and process development and improvement.
Experience with IT facilities management, data center operations including backup and recovery procedures and policy documentation.
Excellent Program/Project Management and Time Management skills with proven ability to work in a cross functional environment to drive the implementation of projects.
Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills to interface with management and staff at all levels within the organization.
Ability to work individually and in a team environment with minimal supervision and provide deliverables in a timely manner.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills.
